Shore City Tour Havana

The captivating charm of Havanas cityscape awaits the pleasure of your company on this fully guided half-day tour, which begins when you board a coach at the pier.

With your friendly tour guide on hand to provide information as you go, youll head to your first stop on the other side of Havana harbour: the imposing 16th-century Morro Castle, named after the three biblical Magi.

The tour then continues on foot through Havanas old quarter, taking in four of the citys most iconic squares: Plaza San Francisco de Asis, Plaza de Armas, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de la Catedral. Youll also get to retrace the footsteps of famous American author, Ernest Hemingway, when you visit one of his favourite haunts, La Bodeguita del Medio.

Your sightseeing tour will continue passing Havanas El Capitolio and catch appealing views of the Museum of the Revolution, the National Museum of Fine Arts, Parque Central and the so-called Great Theatre of Havana.

A stop is scheduled at Plaza de la Revolución for you to take photos and enjoy the surroundings, followed by a tour of Christopher Columbus Cemetery. Established in the late 19th century, the park-like cemetery boasts more than 500 major mausoleums, family vaults, chapels and galleries.

As a finishing flourish to the tour, youll be taken on a panoramic drive with information provided by your tour guide around some of the citys key sights before you return to your starting point and then the cruise liner.
