City Tour of Old Havana declared by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage of Humankind. Entrance to City Museum Capitanes Generales, Capitol Building and external area of Morro Cabaña Fortress located on the side of the Havana Bay with a spectacular view over the city and the harbour. In the afternoon, after optional lunch in a restaurant specialized in Cuban food you will visit the modern section of Havana, mainly Revolution Plaza, Colon Cemetery, University of Havana, the Presidents and Paseo Avenues and later in the afternoon Miramar and Siboney neighbourhoods. The tour will last around 7 to 8 hours .The third day you will explore the green splendour of western Cuba with a tour to the marvellous Viñales Valley in a 2 and a half bus trip. From here you can enjoy the rock formations called mogotes, the valley, the Cuban countryside and the area where the world’s best tobacco is grown: take a look at Cuban cigars, Indian Cave and the Prehistoric Mural. You will also visit a tobacco factory in the city of Pinar del Rio. The fourth day, on your way to Varadero Beach you will visit the fishing town of Cojimar famous for the visits of US writer Ernest Hemingway who visited the area and which served for his book The Old Man and the Sea. Then you will enjoy a stopover to the Bacunayagua Viewpoint and enjoy the incredible scenery of the Yumurí Valley. Then on to the world famous Varadero Beach Resort. Your stay in Varadero is free to enjoy the beach, different excursions are available each day so do not hesitate in taking some of them. |
