DAY 1, HAVANA

Welcome to Cuba!

Arrival at Havana International Airport.

Meet and greeting at the Airport.

Day 2, HAVANA – SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Early Breakfast.

Transfer to the airport very early in the morning to take the flight to the eastern part of Cuba to Santiago de Cuba or Holguin. Ticket included.

Arrival and Transfer In to your Hotel in Santiago de Cuba.

Check In.

Walking tour of the historical Céspedes Park at the center of the city, visit the Cathedral. Santiago de Cuba is the home of Afro-Cuban culture and rhythm and rivals Havana in literature, music and politics. The city has a noticeable Caribbean flavour, thanks to the French planters and Haitians who settled here in the 19th century.

Dinner at Hotel Restaurant.

Visit Casa de la Trova Santiaguera.

Day 3 SANTIAGO DE CUBA-SIERRA MAESTRA MOUNTAINS.

Early Breakfast.

Tour that will take you to the Turquino National Park in the heart of the Sierra Maestra, enigmatic place, majestic by nature and impressive history. On the way you will pass through Bayamo, picturesque city that holds the title of "National Monument" and a long history since its early foundation as a Second Village of Cuba, founded in 1513..

Continues to Villa Santo Domingo.

Arrival and check in.

Dinner at hotel.

Day, 4 SIERRA MAESTRA MOUNTAINS.

Early Breakfast.

6.30am Departure to the Alto Del Naranjo.

You will start a tour on trails to the La Plata Command Headquarters, site of the Rebel Army settled on the stage of struggle for the national liberation. The visitor will experience the details of the life of the rebels in the mountains will exchange with residents of the area. Stop for picnic lunch. Continue to Aguada de Joaquin. Camping and dinner.

Free night to relax or to explore the community and know the custom of his people.

Day 5, SIERRA MAESTRA MOUNTAINS.

6.00 am Breakfast and departure to Pico Joaquin 1360 meters above sea level. Short rest and continue to Alto de Regino located 1680 meters above sea level. Continue climbing and descending through the mountain till reach the Pico Turquino located 1974 meters above sea level. Time to rest and picnic lunch. Start descending to Aguada de Joaquin.

Leisure at Aguada del Joaquín camp, Time to take photos of the Sierra Maestra and the Turquino peak.

Day 6, SIERRA MAESTRA-SANTIAGO DE CUBA.

8:30am Breakfast.

Descent continues to the village of Las Cuevas in the south of the Sierra Maestra facing the Caribbean Sea,arrival at Cuba Peak, some of the higher elevations of the Sierra Maestra and picnic lunch.

After a short rest we continue the descent through the beautiful waterfalls of Palma Mocha river, finally you arrive at the station of Las Cuevas in the south of the Sierra Maestra facing the Caribbean Sea.

In the visitors center they will be provided a farewell cocktail and is given the opportunity to fill the guestbook to get their impressions.

Departure back to the city of Santiago de Cuba.

Approximate arrival at 18.30 hrs.

Day 7, SANTIAGO DE CUBA - HAVANA.

8:30am Breakfast.

Check out. Transfer out to take flight Santiago de Cuba - Havana.

Transfer airport to hotel.

Free afternoon in Havana.

Optional dinner.

Day 8, HAVANA CITY TOUR.

8:30am Breakfast.

09:00 leaving for Private Full City Tour of Old and Modern Havana.

09:30 starting the walking tour of Old Havana from the Templete, where Havana villa was founded in 1519. Walking through the Plaza de Armas and all other Squares of Old Havana: San Francisco de Asís Square, then to Old Square, visit the Cathedral Square. Seeing the monuments and buildings more relevant from the different centuries all well preserved, the Palacio Del Segundo Cabo, the Cathedral.

13:00 Optional Lunch.

14:30 the tour continues by classic American car going through the prestige Prado Avenue, the Grand Theater of Havana, the Central Park, stop at the Capitolio Building. Continue to Colon Cemetery (from the outside), one of the most historical cemetery of the world and the most significant in Latin American with more of 500 mausoleums, chapels and family vaults; enjoy some of the most relevant mansions of the Vedado on Paseo Avenue, President Avenue, 17 Street between others, visit the University of Havana, the Coppelia building, the Rampa, the first Hilton built outside USA in the fifties, The Revolution Square, The Seaboard, etc.

17:00 Visit to the External area of Morro Cabaña Fortress with a wonderful view of Havana from the other side of the Bay. Special opportunity for photos, you can also visit the monumental Havana Christ Statue.

Back to the hotel around 18:00.

Day 9, HAVANA DEPARTURE.

Breakfast.

Transfer Out on time to Havana International Airport to take flight out of the country (clients must be 3 hours in advance)
