Day 2 HAVANA CITY TOUR

08:30 Breakfast.

09:15 Starting a full best private Havana city tour from Templete, where Havana villa was founded in 1519. Local guide Old Havana walking tour visiting Plaza de Armas Square and other 3 most significant squares in Old Havana: San Francisco de Asís Square, then to Old Square, visit the Cathedral Square. Seeing the monuments and buildings more relevant from the different centuries all well preserved, the Palacio Del Segundo Cabo, the Cathedral; entrance to the Partagas Cigar factory and to the Old Havana Small Scale Museum to see how process of Havana refurbishing has gone through these past decades and the prospect to finalize the entire Old Havana world heritage city.

13:00 Welcoming lunch at a private family restaurant.

After lunch continuation of the city tour, visit the Prado Avenue, the Grand Theater of Havana, and the Capitol Building. Continue to Colon Cemetery, one of the most historical cemetery of the world and the most significant in Latin American with more of 500 mausoleums, chapels and family vaults; enjoy some of the most relevant mansions of the Vedado on Paseo Avenue, President Avenue, 17 Street between others, visit the University of Havana, the Coppelia building, the Rampa, the first Hilton built outside USA in the fifties, etc. Entrance to landmark Hotel Nacional de Cuba, zip a welcoming Mojito and enjoy photo gallery of famous world leaders and personalities have been guest of this Hotel for last 90 years since it was built in 1930.

Day 3 HAVANA-LAS TERRAZAS-VIÑALES VALLEY TOUR

07:30 Breakfast.

08:45 Departing for Viñales Valley (190km). One of the most beautiful areas of Cuba with their rare hill name Mogotes, fertile land where best havano tobacco leaf is grown. Place of wonderful caverns, little country routes and amazing landscapes.

10:00 Walking tour through the Valley visiting tobacco farms, meeting local people “guajiros” working with the oxen the land with traditional and sustainable way.

Luncheon at Finca Paraiso (very interesting agro ecological project with the best views of the Valley; family private owned restaurant).

Entrance to the Indian caves with a boat ride inside the cave and to a tobacco farm producing best tobacco leaf from where best world Havano cigar is produced.

Visit town of Viñales where you could appreciate prosperity of this rural Cuba town thanks to tourism and the opportunity to make private business basically renting guesthouse and having family restaurants locally known as Paladar.

Leaving back to Havana, if times allow enter to community Las Terrazas to visit the eco sustainable project.

Day 4 HAVANA- VARADERO

One of Cuba’s most popular tourist destination is Varadero.
